Wide receiver Johnnie Dixon (No. 1) hauled in six catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Scarlet team to a win over Gray squad in Ohio State’s annual spring scrimmage, while wideout Terry McLaurin (No. 83) added four receptions for 80 yards and two scores in defeat.

Starting in place of an injured Mike Weber, running back J.K. Dobbins (No. 2) rushed for 181 yards – breaking Maurice Clarett’s freshman debut record – to help Ohio State pull away from Indiana. The Buckeyes switched to Nike’s Vapor Untouchable template, while both teams wore “Houston Strong” decals on their helmet to show support for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield (No. 6) launched his Heisman Trophy campaign by throwing for 386 yards and three touchdowns to lead Oklahoma to a 31-16 win over Ohio State – then planted a flag at midfield in celebration. In a night where little went right, linebacker Chris Worley (No. 35) led the Buckeyes with 11 tackles.

Dobbins ran for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Ohio State rebounded from the previous week’s loss to rout Army. Quarterback J.T. Barrett also added two touchdowns in the win, breaking the Big Ten record for most career touchdowns responsible for.

Barrett (No. 16) threw touchdown passes to five different receivers – and then sat out the second half – as Ohio State cruised past UNLV. The Buckeyes wore an “Extra Yard For Teachers” helmet decal to help promote the College Football Playoff Foundation’s primary philanthropic endeavor.

Barrett threw three touchdown passes and became Ohio State’s all-time leader in career passing yardage while leading Ohio State to a shutout victory at Rutgers. Weber (No. 25) added three first-half scores in his return from a hamstring injury.

Cornerback Denzel Ward (No. 12) made a clean but jarring hit (and was wrongly ejected for targeting) on a day in which Ohio State’s defense limited Maryland to just 66 total yardsthe fewest yards allowed by the Buckeyes in more than 50 years. Players wore pink ribbon helmet decals to raise breast cancer awareness.

Barrett passed for five touchdowns and ran for two others, helping Ohio State score on its first eight possessions in a rout of Nebraska. The Buckeyes tied a school record with a fourth-straight game of scoring 50-plus points in the win. It was also the most points the Cornhuskers had ever allowed a conference opponent to score in Lincoln.

Barrett threw three fourth-quarter touchdown passes – including a 16-yard toss with just 1:48 left in the game – to help Ohio State rally from an 18-point deficit and hand Penn State its first loss of the season. The Buckeyes wore all-gray uniforms, which featured a wolf-fur pattern on the helmet, base layer, numbers and socks.

Barrett threw four interceptions – including three to cornerback Josh Jackson (No. 15) and another on Ohio State’s first play from possession – as the Hawkeyes throttled the Buckeyes and dealt what was ultimately a fatal blow to their College Football Playoff hopes.

Weber rushed for 162 yards and a pair of scores – from 47 and 82 yards out, respectively – as Ohio State bounced back and routed Michigan State. The Spartans entered the game allowing just 87 rush yards per game, but the Buckeyes totaled a season-high 335.

Center Billy Price (No.54) started his school-record 52nd-consecutive game as Ohio State blew out Illinois in the driving rain. Barrett, meanwhile, added his 100th-career touchdown pass in his final game at Ohio Stadium.

Dwayne Haskins (No. 7) replaced Barrett when he went down with a knee injury in the third quarter and led Ohio State to a come-from-behind victory over archrival Michigan. The Buckeyes wore what is essentially the road version of their all-gray “Land of the Wolves” alternates.

Six days after undergoing surgery on his right knee, Barrett threw two touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Ohio State to a win over previously unbeaten Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Safety Damon Webb (No. 7) recovered a fumble to set up an early score and then returned an interception for a touchdown to give Ohio State – which just missed out on a berth in the College Football Playoff – its first win over USC in seven tries (1973 Rose Bowl).
